LAUREN PERETICH

Lauren A. Watkins, born and raised in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, is an Associate at Gaydos Law, P.C., where she focuses her practice on family law and criminal defense.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Duquesne University and went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. During law school, she distinguished herself as a leader, serving as president of multiple student organizations and actively contributing to the academic community. She also served as a Student Ambassador, representing the law school to prospective students and assisting with admissions and outreach efforts.

While in law school, Lauren completed several internships throughout the Pittsburgh area, gaining valuable hands-on experience across a variety of legal settings. Prior to joining Gaydos Law, P.C., she served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office. In that role, she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, managed a high-volume caseload and appeared in court daily. Her time as a prosecutor provided her with extensive courtroom experience, sharpened her litigation and trial advocacy skills, and gave her a comprehensive understanding of case development, evidentiary issues, and strategic decision-making at every stage of the criminal process.

Lauren leverages her prosecutorial background to anticipate challenges, build strong cases, and advocate effectively for her clients. At the same time, she understands that legal matters—particularly those involving family law or criminal allegations—are often deeply personal and stressful. She approaches every case with diligence, strategic focus, and compassion, ensuring her clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the legal process.

Outside of her practice, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
