Lori B. Love

Lori B. Love, born and raised in the City of Pittsburgh, is an Associate at Gaydos Law, P.C. Lori handles the majority of the firm’s domestic law cases including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, protections from abuse, and other domestic relations matters. Lori has successfully litigated many cases in these areas of practice and passionately advocates for the interests of her clients.

Lori is keenly aware of the stress and anxiety that can come with domestic relations matters and is able to use her knowledge and experience to quickly assess a client’s case and develop the most favorable plan of action. While Lori spends a significant amount of time advocating for her clients in the courtroom, when she is not in court, Lori is often meeting with clients and negotiating marital settlement agreements and consent orders to assist clients in settling matters outside of court whenever possible.

In addition to family law, Lori has experience representing clients in a variety of other criminal and civil law matters, including DUI, summary offenses, real estate, debt defense and personal injury. Lori also completed a clerkship with the Honorable Judge Dwayne Woodruff of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division.

Lori graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Park University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. She earned her Juris Doctorate at Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Lori competed in the 2013 National Trial Advocacy Competition, as well as serving on the executive boards of several active student organizations. Lori also regularly donated her time at numerous charity events.

Lori has been a dedicated public servant. Prior to attending law school, Lori spent several years working in the corrections field. Lori also worked for three years as a Caseworker for the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families and in the past, has performed pro bono work for Neighborhood Legal Services.
